Both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan reaffirmed their unified stance regarding the Palestinian issue.
During a joint press conference held in the capital Riyadh, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan stated that both Saudi Arabia and Jordan have a clear position on the Palestinian issue, emphasizing their commitment to a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders. For his part, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi highlighted the unity of the Saudi and Jordanian positions on the Palestinian cause, calling for the necessity of finding a comprehensive solution. He stated, "Our position with Saudi Arabia is one regarding the Palestinian issue; we want a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution."
Safadi condemned the continuous attacks launched by the Houthis against Saudi Arabia, considering that Saudi security is integral to Jordanian security. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi today in Riyadh to discuss bilateral relations between the two kingdoms and regional developments.
