A Spanish news report revealed on Friday that Real Madrid is planning to bring together Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland, the duo from PSG and Dortmund, in its squad next season. Real Madrid attempted to sign Mbappé before the end of his contract with one year remaining this summer, but PSG insisted on his continuation in hopes of convincing him to renew his contract, especially after the arrival of Argentine Lionel Messi.
According to the Catalan newspaper "Sport," Real Madrid is prepared to wait until next summer to sign Mbappé, as he will then be a free agent and can transfer in a free deal. The newspaper added that Real Madrid will utilize the funds it collected this summer to acquire Mbappé and aim for a different signing next summer, which is Erling Haaland.
