The production company for the historical series "Safarbarlek" has announced that director Al-Layth Hajjo will take over the direction of the work, which was originally set to be directed by the late Hatem Ali this month for MBC Channel.
The company confirmed that it was agreed to include the late director's name in the credits of the work as a tribute to him and his significant artistic career. Prominent Syrian director Hatem Ali passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, "of natural causes" at the age of 58 in his hotel room in Cairo, after a journey in the drama world that lasted more than three decades. Ali enriched the television library with many works that captured the attention of millions of Arab viewers, including the series "Al-Fusool Al-Arba'a," one of the most famous Syrian television productions.
