"I Want to Kill Happy Women": Confessions of a Criminal

The repercussions of a murder committed by a Japanese man on a commuter train in Tokyo on Friday evening continue to stir widespread debate, particularly after the police revealed details about the motives. Japanese media reported on Saturday that police arrested a 36-year-old man who attacked several people on the train, stabbing some of them, and told the police that he committed the act out of anger after seeing happy women and wanted to eliminate them.

Reports confirmed that a university student sustained serious injuries, while other injuries were classified as less severe. He also told the police that he started feeling at the age of six that he wanted to kill happy women, asserting that he wanted to kill many people. Authorities are investigating this type of crime, which is considered rare in the country.
