EU finance ministers today gave Croatia the final green light to adopt the euro as its currency on January 1, 2023.
Czech Finance Minister Zbynek Stanjura, whose country holds the rotating presidency of the EU, said: "I am pleased to congratulate my counterpart Zdravko Marić and all of Croatia for becoming the twentieth country to join the eurozone," according to the French Press Agency.
