Deputy Firas Hamdan announced on behalf of the change-making deputies that 10 of them named Nawaf Salam, while 3 refrained from naming anyone. Hamdan stated, "We began our discussion with President Aoun by reminding him that 80 percent of Lebanese are living below the poverty line and that the rights of Lebanese have become available only to a very few people. From this standpoint, we said that it is unacceptable to continue with the same approach and faces." He added, "We hold the system responsible for the acceleration of the collapse, and our confrontation will continue inside the council and soon in the street."
