Tonali Rescues Milan to the Top with Last-Minute Goal

AC Milan reclaimed the top spot in the Italian Serie A thanks to a last-minute goal from Sandro Tonali during extra time, winning 2-1 against Lazio despite falling behind early on Sunday. Ciro Immobile put the home side ahead just four minutes into the match, but Olivier Giroud equalized in the 50th minute. Milan pressed hard, and veteran Zlatan Ibrahimović rose high to head the ball towards Tonali, who controlled it before shooting from close range into the net in the second minute of stoppage time. Milan now has 74 points from 34 matches, two points ahead of their rivals and neighbors Inter Milan, who have played 33 matches. Lazio sits in sixth place with 56 points.
