Official data released by the Israeli newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" has disclosed the expenses of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara, along with their delegations, during their 2025 visits to the United States. These expenses include hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on flights and hotels, as well as significant amounts spent on makeup, hairstyling, hospitality, and other expenses.
One of the most notable trips was Netanyahu and his wife's visit to Florida at the end of 2025, where they celebrated the New Year at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
During the six-day visit, Netanyahu and his wife stayed at a luxurious suite at the "Four Seasons Hotel," costing $10,000 a night, bringing the total accommodation cost to $50,000.
The ordinary rooms for the 43 members of the accompanying delegation cost $250 per night, according to the published data.
$423,000 for the Plane
The flight costs for the "Wing of Zion," the plane designated for transporting the Israeli Prime Minister, amounted to $423,407, funded by Israeli public money.
On another trip to Washington and New York from September 25 to 30, 2025, the plane costs stood at $359,281.
The data revealed Netanyahu’s suite at the "Loews Regency Hotel" cost $6,000 per night, while total listed expenses for the stay reached $41,993.
Expenses also included $1,200 for a makeup artist and around $1,500 for hospitality, coffee, and tea. Additionally, around $400 was spent on car rentals for the delegation and $125 on a traffic fine.
Unusual Hotel and Expenses
During Netanyahu’s trip to the U.S. in July, his stay at the "Willard InterContinental Hotel" cost $172,701, along with about $520 for hospitality and beverages.
Documents also listed $295 for fixing a door at the embassy under "damage during visit," along with around $2,000 for customs expenses.
For a three-day visit in April, accommodation expenses at the "Watergate Hotel" amounted to $51,000.
This trip also recorded $3,036 for a makeup artist and the same amount for a hair stylist, as well as around $1,500 for light hospitality and $1,200 labeled under "printers and inks," plus $240 for purchasing a whiteboard and corkboard.
$13,400 on Makeup and Hair
Eye-catching figures appeared during another visit in February, showing $6,700 spent on makeup and an equal amount on hairstyling, totaling $13,400.
Expenses included about $4,800 on photography lighting and around $840 on flag pins.
There was also a $25,000 charge for the Prime Minister’s suite, approximately $300 for laundry, and $500 labeled as "smoking fees" in a meeting room connected to a press conference.
The data also revealed $480 was spent on COVID-19 tests for two delegation members.
The documents provide a detailed picture of Netanyahu’s official U.S. visits’ costs in 2025, ranging from major expenses like flights and accommodations to smaller items like beauty services, hospitality, laundry, fines, and repairs.
