Qatar: Returning to a Fair Nuclear Agreement Benefits Regional Security

Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani expressed Qatar's hope for Iran and the U.S. to return to the nuclear agreement. He stated that "Qatar looks forward to Iran and America reaching an understanding that contributes to reviving the nuclear agreement and achieving a fair deal for all, taking into account the concerns of all parties," emphasizing that this "serves the interests of security and stability in the region." This statement came during a phone call between the Qatari foreign minister and his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, during which they discussed bilateral relations, developments in negotiations to return to the nuclear agreement, and several issues of mutual concern.
