Title: COVID-19 Vaccination in the UAE Exceeds 3 Million People

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention announced the administration of 137,956 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine within the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of doses administered to over 3 million, with a vaccination distribution rate of 30.40 doses per 100 people.

In a statement today, the ministry indicated that this campaign aligns with its plan to provide the COVID-19 vaccine and aims to achieve herd immunity through vaccination, which will help reduce case numbers and control the COVID-19 virus. It is noteworthy that intensified testing and screening measures in the United Arab Emirates, as well as the expansion of testing, have contributed to the detection of 3,962 new cases of the novel coronavirus from various nationalities, all of which are stable and receiving necessary healthcare. The total number of recorded cases now stands at 297,014.

The ministry also announced the death of 7 individuals affected by complications from the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of fatalities in the country to 826.
