After British star Adele lost about 45 kg thanks to it, the "Sirtfood Diet" has gained wide popularity, attracting the curiosity of many around the world who wish to lose weight.
German nutrition expert Andrea Danicik stated that the "Sirtfood Diet" is a plant-based diet that focuses on foods that activate "sirtuin" enzymes in the body, which have a positive impact on metabolism and control the aging process.
Danicik explained that these foods include citrus fruits, green vegetables, kale, soy products, as well as spices like turmeric, pepper, and garlic, in addition to high-quality fats such as olive oil, while avoiding sugar and white flour as much as possible.
She added that this diet promises weight loss by reducing calorie intake; however, there has not been sufficient scientific research conducted on its effectiveness.
