Macron: Stability in Lebanon is Central for France

French President Emmanuel Macron, during the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid to Paris, urged to "avoid any action that might threaten the ongoing process between Lebanon and the Israeli state regarding the contentious gas issue," according to "Agence France-Presse." The French president told reporters in the Élysée Palace alongside Lapid: "I would like to talk about the negotiations concerning the maritime borders with Israel; both countries have an interest in reaching an agreement that allows for the exploitation of energy for the benefit of both peoples."
