Immediate Circular to Remove All Election Posters

The Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, has requested all governors, each within their jurisdiction, to issue a directive to all municipalities and municipal federations to remove all advertisements, posters, billboards, and candidate images from roads, walls, utility poles, tree trunks, traffic lights, and road signs, to be done immediately. In this context, the municipal guard members of Beirut and the fire brigade have begun removing all images and signs from the capital.
