A Syrian military source announced on Sunday that three soldiers were killed and three others were injured due to Israeli rocket fire from Lebanese airspace, targeting locations in the Damascus countryside and Tartus provinces. The source stated in a statement to the "SANA" agency that the shelling resulted in some material losses. It was reported that "around 20:50 on Sunday evening, the Israeli enemy carried out an aerial aggression with barrages of rockets from the southeast Beirut direction, targeting some points in the Damascus countryside." It was clarified that this aggression coincided with another attack from the sea targeting some points south of Tartus province. The source confirmed that Syrian air defense systems intercepted some of the agression's rockets and that "the fires resulting from the Israeli aggression have been controlled."
