Two Syrians were killed and eleven others injured, including three officers, due to a bomb explosion in front of the courthouse in Tartous, western Syria, on Thursday. A source in the Tartous governorate told the German news agency that an individual detonated a hand grenade during a verbal altercation with a lawyer, stemming from a family dispute. This led to the death of the lawyer and the person who carried the grenade, as well as injuries to three officers, the lawyer's brother, and seven other individuals who were present in front of the courthouse. The source confirmed that investigations have begun to determine the causes of the incident.
