The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been experiencing an unprecedented drop in temperatures since Friday, with snow covering six cities in the northern part of the country. Hussein Al-Qahhtani, spokesperson for the meteorological center in the kingdom, stated that "Saudi Arabia will witness a sharp drop in temperatures over the weekend in the northern and central regions. Riyadh is expected to record temperatures between -1°C and -3°C." On the past Friday, the city of Turaif recorded -3°C, and Al-Qurayyat saw temperatures at -2°C, with Hail in the north experiencing similar conditions. Activists have shared videos and photos on social media showing snowfall covering the roads.
