Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Arrives in Jordan, Welcomed by King Abdullah II

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, arrived today in Amman for a visit to the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Upon his arrival at "Marka" airport, he was welcomed by King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. King Abdullah II expressed his joy at the visit, which reflects the depth of the fraternal relations between the UAE and Jordan and their two brotherly peoples. This visit coincides with Jordan's celebrations of the 75th anniversary of its Independence Day and the centennial of the founding of the Hashemite Kingdom. A contingent of the honor guard lined up to greet him, followed by the playing of the national anthems of both countries.
