Twitter, the giant microblogging platform, announced that it has begun rolling out a new feature allowing users to identify tweets that contain misinformation. According to "The Verge," users can report misleading information using the same method as reporting harmful content. The new feature is available in the United States, Australia, and South Korea, with the platform expecting to conduct trials for several months before launching it in additional markets. The U.S. government has previously pressured various social media platforms to address misinformation, particularly related to COVID-19 vaccines.
