Member of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc, MP Hassan Az al-Din, affirmed that the resistance has succeeded in protecting Lebanon, its wealth, stability, security, oil, and water.
The National News Agency reported today that "Hezbollah" commemorated the martyrs of the Islamic resistance leaders, Sayyid Abbas al-Moussawi, Sheikh Raghib Harb, and Hajj Imad Mughniyeh, in a ceremony held in front of the Hussaini Club in Sidon, under the patronage of MP Hassan Az al-Din and attended by Sidon Region Official Sheikh Zaid Daher and members of the region.
Az al-Din emphasized that the resistance continues on its path and the course charted by the martyr leaders, stressing that this resistance has managed to safeguard Lebanon and its wealth, stability, security, oil, and waters. He pointed out that on February 16, the anniversary of the liberation of Sidon, and on the 26th, the assassination of the great fighter Ma’ruf Saad, who was martyred defending the poor, the memory of the martyr leaders will remain immortal in the nation's history. He noted that thanks to these leaders, the resistance has become a school and a model for all free people and fighters worldwide.
The member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc highlighted that this resistance has imposed one equation after another on the enemy, keeping it fearful, anxious, and in a state of half-preparedness, hostage to the initiatives of the resistance which remains in contact with Palestine—a stance we will not abandon, and it will remain at the forefront, the first line of defense that carries the concern of this nation's central cause, as it is a matter of right and justice.
Az al-Din noted that the resistance, which has proved its efficiency, ability, strength, and readiness, is today stronger than it was yesterday and is ever-watchful at any moment that our country faces any foolishness or aggression by the enemy.
