5 Products We Didn't See at Apple's Spring Event

Apple's spring event concluded with the introduction of a wide range of key products such as the iPad Pro, AirTag tracker, and iMac. However, many products were also absent from this event. Here are the top 5 products that were not launched during Apple's spring event, according to the "Tom's Guide" website:

**AirPods 3**

Multiple reports indicated that the AirPods 3 would not be ready for mass production until the second half of the year. The upcoming wireless earbuds from Apple could have made a surprise appearance if they had been announced during the spring event.

**iPad Mini 6**

A number of leaks and rumors suggested that we would see the iPad Mini 6 with a small LED display and a design reminiscent of the iPad Pro with narrow bezels. Instead, we only received an upgraded iPad Pro.

**Apple M1X Chip**

Rumors circulated about the Apple M1 chip developed for future Macs, and many believed that the rumored Apple M1X chip would be the internal silicon from Cupertino powering the 2021 iMac. However, it turned out that the updated versatile Apple computer uses the current M1 chip.

**iPad 9**

Apple updated its standard iPad in 2019, giving it a 10.2-inch display, effectively turning it into an "iPad Air" starting from that year. Then in 2020, the standard iPad received a slight spec bump. Nevertheless, it still features a somewhat outdated design with large bezels and a home button. An updated, sleekly designed iPad was expected to launch during Apple’s spring event, but this did not happen.

**Apple Pencil 3**

With the new iPad Pro’s launch, the third generation of the Apple Pencil was not released; instead, the second generation was updated. As Apple enhanced the iPad Pro with the M1 chip, there could have been an opportunity to issue a new Pencil to enable more smart options, as well as improved sensitivity and responsiveness, but this did not occur.
