Next Thursday morning, a ship loaded with diesel will arrive to dock off the Deir Ammar power plant, where laboratory tests will be conducted and sent to laboratories in Dubai. The connection to the electrical grid will be made during the unloading of its cargo into the plant’s tanks as soon as positive results are confirmed. In this context, administrative sources informed the "Al-Ahd" site that "the quantity of fuel is sufficient to meet the production and distribution needs of the Zahrani and Deir Ammar plants, although electricity supply will be limited to providing areas with two hours of power every twenty-four hours."
