Greenwood's Fate in Rape and Death Threat Cases to be Revealed Soon

Mason Greenwood, the young Manchester United player, will discover his fate in the coming days regarding whether he will face charges of rape or not. Greenwood was arrested last February on suspicion of committing rape, sexual assault, and making death threats, but he was released on bail after three days.

The British newspaper "The Sun" reported that the police are set to submit their report to the Crown Prosecution Service soon. A source told the newspaper: "The player is still out on bail, the police and the prosecution are currently discussing whether there is a case against him."

The source continued: "There is a point at which a decision must be made, and that point has now been reached. The police will present their findings soon." Greenwood's bail ends on April 30 and cannot be renewed.

Manchester United has suspended the player from matches and training until further notice, and he has been removed from the game "FIFA 22." Several sponsors of Manchester City announced that they would not use Greenwood in any upcoming advertising campaigns.

The player made his first appearance in the red jersey in March 2019 and has since played 129 matches for the club, scoring 35 goals.
