Minister of Public Works and Transport in the caretaker government, Ali Hamieh, tweeted: "The Ministry of Public Works and Transport will work to complete the stages of establishing the Jounieh tourist port according to the proper procedures, which holds significant importance as it is a vital facility not just for the Kesrouan region but for all of Lebanon, considering it a strategic project that deepens Lebanon’s historical role on the eastern Mediterranean coast."
