The media office of the head of the pharmacists' syndicate in Lebanon, Joe Salloum, pointed out that "in light of the ongoing crises affecting the health sector in Lebanon, particularly the pharmaceutical sector, Salloum warns of the major influx of smuggled drugs in the Lebanese markets, especially those from Turkey, which are entering Lebanon without oversight. They have begun to be sold openly in 'shops' and through social media."
