This service will enable WhatsApp users to listen to voice notes received from friends, even after they have exited the conversation with that friend to engage in another chat, according to the tech news site "WABetaInfo."
This will practically save users time, especially since currently, users cannot listen to voice notes while performing another task within the app. Once this service is launched, users will be able to listen to voice messages while navigating through WhatsApp without interruption, which will be a significant time-saver.
WhatsApp has begun rolling out the service in its beta version on iOS devices, specifically iPhones. It is not yet certain when it will be included for Android phones, although reports suggest that the app is testing this feature for those devices. The site also shared an image from the WhatsApp beta version showing the difference between the current mode and the new service that will appear alongside voice messages.
It is unclear when the service will officially launch, but it is believed that it will not take long.
