Yemeni Army: Losses and Collapse Among Houthi Ranks East and West of Al-Bayda

The Yemeni Minister of Information stated that the army is making progress toward the line connecting Al-Bayda and Makiras. The Yemeni army has advanced in the eastern axis of Al-Bayda governorate, moving from the Al-Hazmiyah area to the Al-Izani area in the governorate. The Yemeni army announced that it launched a swift attack on Houthi positions in the Nati' front north of Al-Bayda, indicating that 11 Houthis were killed during an assault on Al-Ash'ar, Jabal Al-Kabir, and Sha'b Bahaus. The Yemeni army reported losses and collapse within Houthi ranks east and west of Al-Bayda.

Sources from "Al-Arabiya" and "Al-Hadath" mentioned that the Yemeni army has regained control of the last city of Owein in the Al-Soma'a district, noting that the Houthis had deployed a minefield around Owein to obstruct the army's advance. Yahya Al-Hatami, head of the Yemeni army's media sector, told "Al-Arabiya" that the Yemeni army dealt a strong blow to the Houthi militias in the Al-Bayda front, confirming that army forces have opened new fronts to deliver decisive blows to the Houthis. He added that Iran has exerted all its efforts to enable the Houthis to control Marib.

Meanwhile, sources from "Al-Arabiya" and "Al-Hadath" reported that the national army, supported by the Al-Bayda resistance, managed to liberate strategic positions in the Al-Zahir district of Al-Hamiqan in Al-Bayda governorate.

The report also highlighted that dozens of Houthi leaders and supervisors continue to relocate their families from the city of Al-Bayda to the governorates of Dhamar and Sana'a in conjunction with the national army's advance and control over certain areas in Al-Bayda. These Houthi measures are being taken in anticipation of the army's control over Al-Bayda governorate. Previously, the army, supported by the resistance, launched a military operation that resulted in the liberation of strategic heights and vast areas from both the eastern and western sides of the city of Al-Bayda (the capital of the governorate).
