Additionally, a few days ago, Helmy reminisced about the great chanter Sheikh Said Mohamed Al-Nakshabendi, who was born on January 7, 1920, and passed away on February 14, 1976, by sharing a short audio clip of Al-Nakshabendi's chant “Hope on the Lips of Desire” on his Instagram story.
In another context, Ahmed Helmy expressed his joy earlier this month after receiving a signed Barcelona jersey from Argentine star Lionel Messi, which was brought to him by his friend, the international Egyptian director Mena Fayez. Helmy shared photos of the signed jersey on his Instagram, commenting: "I was honored to meet my friend Mena Fayez, the Egyptian director who gave me the best gift: a Messi signed jersey. Thank you, Mena... and of course, thank you, Messi."
