The international aid coordinator for Lebanon, Ambassador Pierre Dukhan, will arrive in Beirut next Monday with an assistance delegation. It has been reported that the purpose of the visit is to launch the joint French-Saudi fund to assist the people through charities, organizations, and non-governmental institutions in several sectors, particularly in education, health, and food. It is rumored that a Saudi official in charge of aid will also arrive in Lebanon for cooperation and coordination in this field.
