Meeting at the Ministry of Justice to Prepare for Elections

Minister of Justice Judge Henry Khoury held a meeting with the public prosecutors in Beirut and the provinces this morning in his office at the ministry. This meeting was a continuation of discussions regarding preparations for the upcoming election day next Sunday. Attending the meeting were: Judge Ziad Abou Haidar (Beirut), Judge Ghada Aoun (Mount Lebanon), Judge Rahif Ramadan (South), Judge Ghada Bou Alwan (Nabatieh), Judge Munif Barakat (Bekaa), and Judge Ziad Shaarani (North). The attendees discussed how to address any potential violations related to the electoral process. It was noted that the public prosecutors will be present throughout the election day at their workstations to receive and address complaints and violations to prevent any breaches or offenses.
