President Michel Aoun has requested the Ministers of Justice, Defense, and Interior to emphasize the necessity of monitoring bribery during the election period and to assign intelligence agencies within the military and security forces to assist in this matter, especially after receiving information about the illegal disbursement of funds. He also requested that the Ministers of Defense and Interior ensure security in and around polling centers to prevent any acts of unrest that could disrupt the electoral process, stressing that the safety of polling centers is essential for facilitating the elections.
