The creators of "Aalam Mowazi," starring actress Donia Samir Ghanem, decided to air the series in Ramadan 2022 after postponing it from the previous Ramadan due to a significant number of cast members, including lead actress Donia Samir Ghanem and her late mother Dalal Abdulaziz, contracting the coronavirus.
Filming of the series was halted in April due to time constraints to finish the remaining scenes, as both Dalal Abdulaziz and Samir Ghanem were hospitalized, and both passed away shortly after. According to media sources, the late Dalal Abdulaziz portrays the role of the head of the neighborhood where the events take place, sharing many scenes with the majority of the cast.
The source clarified that Dalal Abdulaziz completed filming a large number of scenes before her death, and the production company decided to include all her scenes without any cuts, adapting them dramatically to fit the storyline of the series. The series will also mark the return of Donia Samir Ghanem to Ramadan television drama after a two-year absence, with her last work being the series "Badal Hadouta 3" in Ramadan 2019, which featured three different stories.
