The head of the High National Committee for preparing for Pope Francis' visit to Lebanon, Minister of Tourism Walid Nassar, announced in a statement that Lebanon received a message from Vatican circles officially informing them of the decision to postpone the Pope's scheduled visit to Lebanon, with the new date for the visit to be announced as soon as it is determined. Nassar indicated that external visits and appointments scheduled in Pope Francis' program have been postponed for health reasons, wishing His Holiness a speedy recovery.
