Mohamed Salah Wins Best Goal Award for January

Liverpool fans have chosen Egyptian star Mohamed Salah's second goal against West Ham United as the club's best goal for January.

The official Liverpool account announced via Twitter that Mohamed Salah has won the award, confirming it is the fifth time he has received the "Goal of the Month" award at the club. "The perfect counter-attack from the Reds, and the Egyptian king @MoSalah's stunning goal against West Ham wins the award for best goal of the month," the tweet read.

Salah previously won the award in September for his goal against Leeds United, in October for his goal against Everton, in November for his goal against Atalanta, and in December for his goal against Crystal Palace.

Furthermore, Mohamed Salah is leading the Premier League's top scorers list after scoring a goal in Liverpool's 4-1 defeat to Manchester City, converting a penalty in the 63rd minute. He currently has 16 goals in the ongoing 2020-2021 season. Notably, Salah has increased his goal tally to 22 for Liverpool across all competitions this season.
