Despite the constant discretion exhibited by Egyptian actor Ahmed El Sakka regarding his personal and family life, he addressed for the first time the issue of his two secret divorces from his wife Maha El Soghayar, a matter recently revealed by his wife in a media interview. El Sakka stated in the program "ABtalks" with host Anas Boukh, that "problems are an inseparable part of married life; otherwise, the marital relationship becomes disrupted. However, with love and a reservoir of feelings, life continues and separation doesn't occur."
He added that his wife is key to the continuation of their 22-year marriage, emphasizing that "trust, tolerating the other during times of anger, and affection are essential." Maha El Soghayar, in her interview on the YouTube program CutheCrap, surprised the audience by confirming that she and Ahmed El Sakka had divorced twice due to disagreements, saying, "We separated and got back together, we separated and got back together. Many people don't know this, and I feel that when I tell such things, it's like saying something wrong. There are people who are in stages where you might separate; that’s the safest solution for us and our children, for each person to go their own way."
She added, "I got married when I was 20 and I was young. We divorced and got back together. I couldn’t bear the disagreements and I was always trying to please the other party but I wasn’t satisfying myself." It’s worth noting that Ahmed El Sakka married Maha El Soghayar in 1999, and they have three children: Yassin, Hamza, and Nadia.
