According to data from the National Center for Statistics and Information of Oman, the Sultanate of Oman recorded a total oil production of 347.94 million barrels by the end of December 2020, marking a decrease of 1.82% from 354.39 million barrels in 2019.
The average price of crude oil in the country also fell by 27.6% by December 2020, reaching $46 per barrel, compared to $63.6 per barrel in 2019. This decline led to a 7.5% reduction in the Sultanate's crude oil exports, which amounted to 287.04 million barrels by late December, compared to exports of 310.33 million barrels in 2019.
