Mohamed Henedy Reveals Reason for Announcing Retirement from Acting

Egyptian artist Mohamed Henedy revealed the reason behind his announcement of retiring from acting and shifting to singing at popular weddings, according to a tweet he wrote on his Twitter account. According to the Egyptian newspaper Al-Watan, he stated that "this tweet was merely a joke with his fans." However, he later revealed that the idea behind the post stems from his preparation for a new theatrical performance directed by Khaled Galal, in which he will appear as a popular wedding singer.

Henedy's tweets sparked discussions on Saturday following his announcement about retiring from acting and moving towards singing at wedding celebrations. Some perceived it as a light-hearted joke from a well-known comic artist, while others believed it, and a third group remained skeptical. It is worth mentioning that Mohamed Henedy has performed several famous songs in his previous films, such as "A Saidi in the American University," "Hamam in Amsterdam," and "Andaleeb El Dokki."
