UAE Condemns Houthi Attempt to Target Saudi Arabia with Bomb-Laden Drone

The United Arab Emirates has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attempts by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias to target civilians and civilian objects in a systematic and deliberate manner in the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using a bomb-laden drone, which was intercepted by coalition forces. The UAE, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, affirmed that the persistence of these terrorist attacks by the Houthi group reflects their blatant challenge to the international community and their disregard for all international laws and norms.

The ministry urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these repeated actions that target vital and civilian facilities, the security of the Kingdom, energy supplies, and global economic stability, emphasizing that the recent continuation of these attacks constitutes a serious escalation and serves as new evidence of the militias' efforts to undermine security and stability in the region.

The ministry reiterated the full solidarity of the UAE with the Kingdom in light of these terrorist attacks, standing united against any threat to its security and stability, and supporting all measures taken to maintain its security and the safety of its citizens and residents.

The statement confirmed that the security of the UAE and the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are indivisible, and any threat or danger faced by the Kingdom is regarded by the UAE as a threat to its own security and stability.
