Title: DJ Faces Death Threats Over Messi Accusations

A DJ has reported receiving death threats following claims that he caused Argentine star Lionel Messi to contract COVID-19. DJ Fer Palacio denied that he infected Paris Saint-Germain’s Messi with the virus. In a post on his personal Twitter account, Palacio stated that many of Messi's fans branded him as "the killer" after sharing photos of himself with the "little flea" at a party in Argentina.

According to the sports website "ESPN," Palacio said: "I faced a major attack, and they accused me of being the cause of Messi contracting COVID-19, to the point of labeling me a killer, and I received a flood of abusive messages."

He also shared a copy of a medical report proving a negative COVID test, adding in the post: "I am not infected with COVID, and this is the proof," as reported by the American "New York Post."

Paris Saint-Germain announced on Sunday that their star Messi is one of four players who tested positive for the virus. The club noted that those infected, alongside Messi, include Spanish defender Juan Bernat, his compatriot goalkeeper Sergio Rico, and midfielder Nathan Bitumazala. PSG confirmed that the players "will undergo quarantine as stipulated by health protocol laws," according to "AFP."
