Kane Tanaka, the oldest Japanese person in the world, passed away at the age of 119. NHK reported that Tanaka lived in a nursing facility in Fukuoka City, but according to Fukuoka Prefecture, she died in a hospital in Fukuoka City on the 19th of this month. It is noted that Kane Tanaka entered the Guinness World Records as the oldest person in the world. She was born on January 2, 1903, in Kazuki Village in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, on the southern island of Kyushu, born before her due date and nursed by women who were not her mother.
