Tourism Minister Walid Nassar indicated to LBCI that the indicators obtained by the ministry from the private sector suggest that the summer season will be very promising in terms of tourism and that the number of incoming visitors will be large. He added, "We rely on the awareness of the new parliamentary council and politicians for the stability of Lebanon to attract tourists." He continued, "I will issue a circular today granting tourist institutions the right to price in dollars, while payment will be in Lebanese pounds." He added, "One of the positive outcomes of COVID-19 is the significant activation of internal environmental and religious tourism, and here lies the role of the Ministry of Tourism in coordinating with unions and travel and tourism agencies to create tourism packages."
