The tragedy of a boat sinking with migrants off the coast of Tripoli last April did not deter those wishing to migrate from repeating the experience, despite the risk of facing a similar fate. Last Saturday night, a boat carrying undocumented migrants set sail from the Arman area on the shores of Al-Minia, carrying around 65 people from the towns of Bbnin, Al-Abda, Al-Qarqaf, and Wadi Al-Jamous in Akkar. A security source informed "Al-Akhbar" that several passengers contacted their families and informed them that they had crossed Lebanese territorial waters, but they do not have enough fuel to reach the Italian shores.
