Saudi Employee Saves Plane and Passengers from Real Disaster!

A Saudi employee at Jeddah airport managed to save a plane and its passengers from a fire that nearly led to its crash, and he was honored by airport authorities. In detail, Ahmed Al-Rifai, a ground services employee at King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah, was recognized "for his quick response and actions that contributed to saving the lives of passengers at a critical moment."

The fire suddenly broke out in the wheels of an African Airbus in Jeddah during April due to overheating of the brakes and friction while landing, as the plane had reached the parking area. Passengers had already begun to exit the aircraft when Al-Rifai rushed to extinguish the fire quickly using a "fire extinguisher." Al-Rifai stated, "I was aware of the seriousness of the situation, but anyone would have done the same if they were in my place. Thank God I was able to extinguish the fire in time and no one was harmed."
