Unknown assailants shot dead a prominent businessman and owner of a grill chain in Egypt, allegedly claiming that their act was in retaliation for his refusal to hire them at his farm.
Investigations revealed that the suspects had ambushed the victim and fired 13 shots at him while he was at his farm in the Green Belt area, where he was hit by a bullet in the head that lodged inside, according to security authorities.
The Egyptian Public Prosecution conducted a reenactment of the crime scene immediately after receiving the report, and the body was sent to forensic examination to determine the cause of death. They also retained the bullet casings.
The suspects were apprehended, and police forces began interrogating them, while also requesting investigative inquiries.
