A video captured by security cameras inside a police vehicle in Vermont, USA, showed a man's attempt to prevent police officers from arresting his son using an excavator. According to reports, police had arrived at the home of 24-year-old Brandon Talman, who was accused of assaulting someone. The officers did not expect such an attack, as the young man’s mother charged at the police, trying to keep her son away from them.
During this altercation, Wayne Talman, the father, entered the excavator parked in the driveway of the house and began swinging its bucket at the officers. The state police stated that "Wayne began operating the excavator and swung the bucket recklessly near the officers in an attempt to prevent them from arresting the suspect.” The three face criminal charges.
