Fire at Military Base in Iran, Investigation Underway

The "Noor News" website, affiliated with the Iranian Supreme National Security Council, reported that a fire broke out at a military base in western Iran on Monday. The site mentioned that "some reports indicate a limited fire erupted in one of the support bases for the armed forces in Kermanshah province early Monday morning," according to Reuters. The website stated that an investigation is still ongoing to determine the cause of the incident and the potential damages. It further reported that "a fire erupted on Monday morning in a storage area for motor oils and other flammable materials at one of the Revolutionary Guard's support bases in the Mahidast region of Kermanshah province, causing damage to an industrial shed." Rescue teams managed to extinguish the fire and teams were dispatched to the support base to investigate the cause of the incident.
