Reports have revealed new details about Apple's anticipated phone for this year, the iPhone 13. Leaks have confirmed that the iPhone 13 will feature a larger battery than all previous versions of this phone, with a capacity estimated at around 3095 mAh, compared to the iPhone 12's capacity of 2815 mAh, which is an 18% increase. As the battery capacity in milliamp hours increases, the battery life also extends, indicating that owners of this type of phone will encounter fewer issues. However, this will also result in thicker phones than before, as reported by the American site "Forbes," which may annoy some users.
Apple is also expected to unveil multiple versions of the iPhone 13, such as the "iPhone 13 Mini" and "iPhone 13 Pro," with batteries in these phones also being larger than their predecessors.
Will the launch be in September?
This is not the first discussion regarding an increase in battery size and capacity, but it is the first time specific figures are mentioned. Apple is accustomed to revealing its latest phones and devices during an annual conference held in September. However, last year, the unveiling of the iPhone 12 was delayed until October due to the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
