The German magazine explained that one should not take a nap after 2 PM, as this could make it harder to sleep at night. Additionally, there should be a specific duration for the nap, with planning for an extra 30 minutes to fully regain focus after waking up, as a person often feels drowsy post-nap.
**Ignoring Time**
It may be tempting to sleep longer than 25 minutes during a nap, but sleeping for a longer duration does not help in achieving relaxation and revitalization. This is because deep sleep occurs after about half an hour, which may lead a person to feel sluggish if the nap extends beyond 25 minutes.
**Not Creating Ideal Conditions**
While some people can sleep anywhere during the afternoon, most need the right environment to fall asleep. It's best to choose a dark, quiet, and comfortable room.
