Artist Ahmed El Awadi revealed the timeline for his wife, artist Yasmine Abdel Aziz, to return from her medical trip, as well as the truth about her current health condition. In an interview on a program on a private Egyptian channel, the husband of Yasmine Abdel Aziz stated that the past two months have been very difficult for them, adding that he has not spoken to the media during this time.
El Awadi mentioned that Yasmine will be returning to Egypt in a few days, noting that "she will be with her audience soon," according to the Egyptian newspaper "Al-Ahram." He explained that "Yasmine underwent a routine gynecological surgery, but her condition deteriorated after the operation to the point where her situation became critical, and they told me she had three hours left to live."
El Awadi touched on the issue of the medical error that Yasmine experienced, describing a conversation between the artist and the treating physician by saying, "The treating doctor in Egypt was laughing when Yasmine spoke to him, even as she was suffering."
He affirmed that he was surprised by a defensive reaction from some members of the medical syndicate, without knowing the backstory and events, pointing out that he will take legal action against the "reckless" doctor, and that the judiciary will be the final arbiter in this case, as he described.
