Day Two: Families of August 4 Blast Victims Demonstrate in Front of the Justice Palace in Beirut

The families of the victims of the port explosion staged a protest in front of the Justice Palace in Beirut starting at 7 AM, for the second consecutive day, in rejection of the decision to appoint an alternate judge in the August 4 case. The families had attempted last night to break into the home of the caretaker Minister of Justice, Henry Khoury, where they raised photos of their loved ones and demanded to see the minister to inform him of their stance, affirming that "there will be a series of escalatory steps in this regard."
