Iraqi Forces Continue Their Missions and Arrest Wanted Individuals

Iraqi forces executed search and pursuit operations for wanted individuals on Thursday, as part of the efforts to eliminate the "ISIS" organization.

The Iraqi Ministry of Defense stated that, "Based on precise intelligence and in coordination with the Intelligence Division of the Anbar Operations Command, military intelligence units from the tenth division, along with the intelligence and reconnaissance brigade, discovered a cache of explosive devices that are remnants of the terrorist 'ISIS' in the Karma area of Anbar, containing 30 explosive devices in the form of cans, while the division's engineering units destroyed the materials under control."

In another context, and in coordination with the Intelligence Division of the West Nineveh Operations Command, military intelligence units from the fifteenth division, in cooperation with the second regiment of the 73rd Infantry Brigade, found 27 locally-made explosive devices in the mountainous chain of the Al-Ayaiya area in the western Nineveh, while the engineering efforts of the division lifted and detonated the devices under control.

In a separate operation, following precise intelligence and in coordination with the Intelligence Division of the West Nineveh Operations Command, military intelligence units from the twentieth division, in collaboration with the reconnaissance intelligence of the 43rd Infantry Brigade, arrested three terrorists along with the vehicle they were using, who were financing ISIS hideouts with food, fuel, and weapons in the Hanif Airport Company area in western Nineveh. They are wanted by the judiciary under an arrest warrant in accordance with Article 4/ Terrorism.

It is worth noting that Iraqi security forces continue their search and purification operations, pursuing the remnants of "ISIS" throughout the country to ensure the organization and its fleeing elements do not resurface again.
